We just received our new run of Lucky If Easy CD's -- newly remastered, newly redesigned, and with a "new" track! They're available at all of our shows now and will soon be available at the usual online spots -- CDBaby.com, iTunes, Amazon.com, etc.

Pay close attention to the commercials on AMC this summer! Alfred recently played cello for a new trailer for Tom Cruise's The Last Samurai (which is currently playing on AMC). Definitely something cool to listen closely to!

We had a fantastic time at the NACA Mid-Atlantic conference last weekend (despite the horrendous Lancaster weather)! We met a bunch of great students and we're looking forward to seeing ya'll at your schools very soon!! And a special thank you goes out to all our "old" friends who stopped by and said hello! It was a blast! Thanks!

Maker Maker has been included on the Oasis Acoustic Sampler, Vol. V. Put together by our favorite disc manufacturers, Oasis, the Sampler goes out to radio stations all over the country!

Alfred will be playing on NBC's 10! show this coming Monday, September 12th with local Philly artist Matt Santry! Check it out live, or set your TiVo, for Monday morning on NBC from 10 - 11 am!

Our thoughts are with the people of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama as they begin to deal with the terrible and unimaginable destruction of Hurricane Katrina. In response to this disaster, CD Baby has started a program where artists can donate ALL profits from their CD sales to the Red Cross to help those whose lives have been devistated by the hurricane. Along with hundreds of other artists, AJB is happy to participate in this outreach. This is a great opportunity to help out.

Alfred will be performing on NBC's 10! morning show Friday, August 12th with up and coming hip hop artist Remy Hendrix. He's been doing some cello tracks for Remy's new album and it's bound to be a fun show! And... rumor has it that Stanley Clarke will be playing bass for the performance tomorrow morning (he's playing at The Mann Friday night with Bela Fleck!) Alfred and Josh will be performing at The Kimmel Center next Wednesday, April 6th for The Philadelphia Songwriter's Project's Tribute to Gershwin. The show starts at 6:30 pm and there's an excellent group of Philly musicians participating in the event. And as a bonus, Alfred and his cello made the front page of The Kimmel Center's website as a part of the event's promotion.
